Steel Pipe Inner Diameter Inspection

Litronics’ SD2020 internal diameter laser profile sensor provides a non-contact solution for inspecting the internal diameter and surface profile of steel pipes. The sensor captures high-density 3D data from inside the pipe and is capable of performing a 360° scan of the inner surface.

The SD2020 is positioned inside the pipe and scans the inner wall as the sensor or workpiece moves or rotates.

     3D Point Cloud of the Internal Profile

 The acquired profiles are combined into a 3D point cloud for measurement and analysis, providing clear visualization of the internal geometry.
